Thrifty Thursday

Clay and I popped into our fave op shop on Sunday and had a lovely, long look around :)

This brooch is HUGE - about 10cm diameter! It was $8

Basket $4

Clay found a few books and when he mentioned it was fill a bag for $5 I suggested he could get some more.

He was very excited to find the Roald Dahl books and a book for aunty Kissy :)

He even found some books for Torrie!

He found this Mario Bros wallet $2

I found the most amazing handbag.....$10!  It's brand new (still had paper stuffing!) And I think it may be leather!  The little bat charm is cute, but I hate the chain strap, so I've ordered a black leather strap online. This will be perfect to wear to Disneyland- all their Halloween decorations are out!

Tops $10 each

Ribbon $2

Inflatible dog collar $3

Everyday Moments

How cute are these flamingo earrings I got at the multicultural festival!?!

Clay loves this design and made it again in red :)

Craig hung my shelf up so I could display my cricut cuties.

Uncle Chris sent Clay a present - footy merch and some of it was signed with his fave players!

Monty is so freaking cute...Craig says he's embarrassing bahaha

It was very foggy this morning on my way to work.

Clay had his annual hearing test and got new moulds taken for his hearing aids. We had great news - no further decrease in hearing loss!

Everyday Moments

One of the guys from work brought me this cup - made me giggle!!

Clay school got a visited from International Olympic Commitee Young Leader, Kalinda Robinson (Track cyclist) and he got to meet her and get an autograph.

Thursday night Tabs, Larissa, Susanne and I went to a Christmas in July trivia night - had a lovely meal, great chats and even came 5th!!

We finally spotted the Lightening McQueen car at one of the car yards after work on Friday, so stopped to snap some pics!

Both puppies were feeling very snuggly (or just using me for my body heat) Saturday morning.

This set was on sale, so of course I couldn't resist it ;)

LOTS of passionfruit on the vine and tjey are getting ripe!  I will share with both mums and work mates and freeze the pulp of some for us for cooking.

Clay has been riding his shuffle cart most afternoons and is getting really good at it :)

When people leave the office for meetings and I have 10 mins spare....

Childers Multicultural Festival

This morning we picked up Diane and headed to Childers with Tabs & Torrie and Josh, Lindalee & Jax for the annual multicultural festival.  We had a fabulous morning looking at the markets stalls, watching the roving entertainers & buskers, listening to the main stage musicians and seeing all the food vendors.  It was a bit overcast with a brief rain shower, then the sun came out for a beautiful day.
