Meet Montgomery

We have been discussing getting another puppy for a few months - Maverick seems so lonely while we are at work and a bit extra nuaghty at night to get our attention. Once we decided that we would add to the chaos, Craig searched online for a suitable puppy and found some dashaund x shihtzu puppies for sale in Maryborough. We arranged to see the puppies - there were 2 left and we decided on the fluffiest one and the owner said he had the loveliest personality and had considered keeping him.  We got up early this morning to meet them.  The minute we met him we knew he was ours...so meet Montgomery (Monty) Goose LOL

Maverick wasn't too sure where the puppy came from, but was very excited to meet Monty.  Monty was a bit unsure too, but after about 30 mins they were doing zoomies and playing.

Thrifty Thrifty

I popped into one of my fave oppies last Saturday while out running some errands :)

I got some crafty items - a bag of mini mushrooms (will be cute in a fairy garden) $1, twine $2 and the macrame rainbow $1

I love craft kits - I can try a new craft without having to buy a heap of supplies! This kit was $4 :)

Book $5

Show Day Adventures Happy Days Diner & Cistern Chapel

After the museum, we headed to Happy Days Diner - a 50's Retro style diner - for lunch. We enjoyed a delicious lunch and then had fun taking pics of all the fun displays :)

After lunch we went to city hall so Torrie could see the war celebration cake and the painted public bathroom and golden toilet (Cistern Chapel).

From there we headed to Hervey Bay and dropped in to say hello to the techs in our office there, before heading home.  It was a lovely, fun filled day and much cheaper than going to the show LOL

Show Day Adventures- Mary Poppins Story Bank

Today was a public holiday for the show, so Tabs and I took the kids on an adventure to Maryborough. Craig was away for work this week, so he missed out.

We started at The Story Bank (Mary Poppins museum).  The kids swapped out some of their books we had packed at the little library and took some pics in the garden.

Then into the Story Bank - it is completely immersive and you are encouraged to open drawers and look through the books and displays.  The rotary phone had the kids stumped and made Tabs and I feel ancient LOL We tried on costumes and explored all the different rooms.  The shadow theatre was lots of fun :)
