Some more Christmas to add to my stash :) Next time I will use watercolour card to reduce warping.

New Car

We picked up our new car today!!  We are so excited!!  It's a 2021 Mazda CX5 Maxx Sport.  We wanted to upgrade to a vehicle that could tow a camper trailer / caravan and were lucky to get a towing package included in the deal.  We ordered the car in January and had to wait (impatiently) for it to ship :)  I spoilt Craig with an early birthday present- personalised plates of his choice - he loves them :)

The dealer gave us this thank you gift- a cooler bag with Bundaberg products- what a lovely thought!

Cards

I had a play with my alcohol inks a few weeks ago and made this rainbow background paper - I really like it, but think I need to watch a few more "how to" videos to get a better coverage/ look.

I saw a cute card on pinterest and was inspired to make these cards :)

Thrifty Thursday

While Clay was shopping with Nanny last Friday I managed to pop into another op shop!  I found a pair of jeans $7 and 2 pairs of black work pants $7 & $15.

Australia Zoo

We decided instead of heading straight home Tuesday morning, we would spend the day at Australia Zoo :)  We had an amazing day walking around seeing all the animals and watching the live animal show at the Crocessuem! Clay being able to see so much more was an amazing experience! 

Brisbane - Post Op Check Up

Yesterday we headed to Brisbane for Clay's post op check up.  Dr Mike said everything is looking good and they have brought him back to about -1 vision.  So far it looks like he won't need glasses :) 

We took a walk down the block to grab some Chinese for dinner and so I could take pics of the gorgeous street art under the bridge.  The name of the restaurant cracks me up - guess all the "cool" names were taken?!?! LOL

After dinner we walked around Southbank to have a look and show Clay the city lights.
