Clay recieved a principal's award for "Being a positive role model" - I can't express how proud we are of him!
Clay was invited to celebrate NAIDOC Week at Shalom College. Students enjoyed a variety of cultural activities, interactive stalls, face painting, and dancing while celebrating the rich cultures, histories, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
We FINALLY got our replacement loungechair in the right colour - woo hoo!! LOL
I read 3 books in July - total 29 so far for the year.
Clay receieved a prize for Japanese at parade today. He was awarded a traditional kimono for creating an invention that was for Japanese people. He came up with an idea / design for a little box that sits inside of your shoe to stop spiders / animals getting into your shoes. When a Japanese Dojo heard about his invention they sent him a jacket as well.
