We were up and on the road by 4.30am this morning, headed to our first destination - Townsville! There was lots of smoke around from fires.
First stop was Rockhampton for breakfast.
Then we spotted this big beer can at Koumala.
Next "big" thing was the cane toad at Sarina.
We stopped at Mackay for lunch. Clay was happy for a break - this is the longest road trip hes been on.
Still lots of smoke as we continued onto Proserpine.
A stop at the big mango in Bowen and to get some mango icecream :)

Finally arrived at our accommodation in Townsville!
