Thrifty Thursday

I have a combo of thrifty finds to share -I haven't op op shopped in forever and I was so happy to be able to visit 2 last week, a FB marketplace purchase and something gifted to me.

The first op shop had Christmas stock out already (yay!) And I found -

A friend's mum is having a clear out of her scraproom and she asked me if I would like some stuff :)  she gifted me 2 boxes full of stuff which I sorted into a pile each for Kristy and myself.  After my HUGE paper clean put effort - Kristy got the majority of paper LOL

FB buy - coolers and icy pile cover blanks for cricut projects - $15

At the 2nd op shop Clay spotted this box of Thomas trains and tracks $10 - he was so excited :)

Chalkboard and 3pk small hessian bags $2 each - future cricut projects

I'm lacking in summer clothes - so that was my main goal.  I found 2x shirts and a pair of shorts $5 each.

The pics aren't the best, but both the cups and the vinyl are temperature colour changing

Cricut Creations - Labelling Storage

I couldn't find a suitable sized first aid kit for the camper, so decided to create my own!  I found a container in the craft section of a cheapie shop and made labels with vinyl using my cricut.

Containers for the camper labelled too :)

I couldn't resist adding this cute Cricut cutie to my tool caddy :)

School Holidays- Week 1

School holidays started this week and boy was it crazy busy! Nanny stayed with us to look after Clay while Craig and I worked.  I found a few free activities happening through the week and booked tickets ready.  We kicked off the first weekend off with a treat- lunch and a play at McDonald's :) Clay decided to make a robot with some boxes we had, so Craig amd he worked on that.  Once we get some more suitable boxes they will finish it off :)

Monday was spent at home - lots of playing with cars, building tracks and teaching Nanny how to play the Wii.

Tuesday they caught the bus into town to see "Daisy Quokka - World's Scariest Animal" at the movies, sushi for lunch and a yummy cupcake!

Wednesday was another day at home.  Thursday they went into town to the library for the Ooze & Gooz with Dr Joe science show  - Clay loved it - then lunch!

Friday I had the day off work as Clay had a follow up ENT appointment  - all is going well.  We popped into an op shop, then to the shopping centre to the Lego Fun Zone.  We went to Luke & Ally's with everyone from work that night for a BBQ and games of pool.

Saturday morning we headed to Bargara so I could pick up a FB market place purchase and we popped into another op shop for a look.  We headed over to the Bundaberg Weekend Bites event at the showgrounds for the afternoon - Clay had a wonderful time :)  it was our 22nd wedding anniversary, so we went out to dinner and listen to a band - Clay danced up a storm LOL  An exciting/ scary end to the night - we came home to this baby white crown snake (poisonous) in our driveway!  Luckily Craig's brother has /knows about snakes and he came over to catch it (and release) for us!
