First Day of School

Clay's excited for grade 4! 

School Holidays - Week 6

Last week of school holidays and it was as busy and fun filled as last week :)

Monday was chilled out day at home with a swim.

Tuesday was another road trip with DEAFinitely Connected to Hervey Bay this time to the aquatic centre.

Wednesday they headed to the beach, where Clay particpated in a rite of passage where Poppy taught him how to surf. He wiped out a few times, but loved it :)

Thursday was another road trip - this time with Nanny, uncle Adam and Darcie to Australia Zoo.

The boys went to the park Saturday afternoon and spotted 2 owls. I stayed home to finish labelling Clay's school books while fighting off Spikey who was trying to "help" LOL

Summer Sundays at Burnett Heads today - Bondi Cigars and Abbey Skye performing.

Australia Zoo

Adam and Nanny took Darcie and Clay on a road trip to Australia Zoo yesterday.  The kids had an amazing time looking at all the animals, playing on all the giant animals and they cooled down in the splash zone to finish the day.

School Holidays - Week 5

Craog and I went back to work Monday,  so Nanny is back this week to look after Clay. Monday was chilled out day at home :)

Tuesday they popped into town in the morning and swims again in the afternoon. Lots of games of UNO after dinner - Clay was the champ :)

Wednesday Clay went on a trip to Trinity Island / Burrungule Heads to go fishing and kayaking with DEAFinitely Connected- he had an amazing time :)

Thursday was shopping with Nanny & aunty I, then home for swims and more games of UNO.

Friday Clay and Nanny headed into town on the bus to see the Phantom comic exhibition at the art gallery.

Sunday morning we had friends over for a swim and morning tea, followed by a movie.  In the afternoon Tabs, Torrie and I went along to Summer Sundays - a free, live beachside concert in a different locations each week over January. Today's performers were: Headliner: Kyle Lionhart & Support: Chang Po Ching. We found a nice shade spot to listen to the music and enjoy a warm Nutella stuffed donut we got from a food truck - it was fabulous!
