I was lucky enough to pop into op shops 2 days this week.  Friday mum and I headed to Bargara for the morning and I FINALLY got to pop into the Salvos shop - they are closed Mondays and Sunday, so I havent been able to get there before now.

I brought this top for $4

There was a box of craft goodies, but I managed to control myself and brought the stamp $3 for me and the metal die 80c for Kristy.

Pillowcase for 50c - will cut down and make into a drawstring bag for Clay's daycare sheet.

At the 2nd shop Clay spotted this insulated lunchbag for $3

After a morning at the playground on Sunday I popped into another fave oppie and picked up this top for $6

Satchel $4

Ring $2

Cuzzie Time

With Cohan and Jack spending 3 weeks at the Gold Coast for a holiday,  we didnt get to spend much time with them these holidays :(  What time we did get to spend together was loud and fun- just the way we like it :)  There was swimming  playdoh, board games, watching movies, riding scooters, playing with remote control cars and a puppet show.  We can't wait for the Easter holidays!

Everyday Moments

Indy had a haircut just before Christmas and his groomer sent him home in a cute Xmas bandana :)

Painting a wooden race car and lego play during the hot parts of the day.

I found a rouge tomato plant growing in my side garden and decided to leave it - now we have lots of yummy cherry tomatoes.

Daycare has started back up for the year.  Clay had his first day back last week in his new pre-prep room, with new teachers.  The little terror refused to let me take first day photos, but posed happily for daycare photos LOL  His teachers have advised us he is settling in really well :)

This morning after swimming Craig and Nanny took Clay to the shopping centre for the free school holiday activity- colouring in a library bag and meeting the dinosaur from Dinosaur Train TV show.

Wetside Water Park

This morning I had an appointment in Hervey Bay, so mum and Clay joined me for a mini road trip.

After my appointment we headed to water aprk to cool down and let Clay have some fun.  This place is such a great space for kids and families and even better it's free!  Clay had an absolute ball running and playing in the water and the slides!  Will definitely visit again :)

Woodgate- Camping Day 4 & 5

Day 4

Another early start to the day!  Bec and Dale and the big kids all headed off into town for shopping / sightseeing and Kristy went off to visit friends in Woodgate, so Clay and I headed to the beach again for more sandcastles and shell collecting.

It was a hot day, so the kids chilled out in the caravan and spent time working on their activity books Kristy made them.

Mid afternoon and Bec decided it was "5 o'clock somewhere" and popped a bottle of champagne.

Crazy flavoured straws kept the kids happy!

Craig finished work early, so drove out to spend the afternoon with us.  We headed to the river for another swim and some more fishing.  Since it 2as a lazy day Craig,  Kristy, Clay and I headed to the pub for dinner.

After dinner Craig headed home and Clay went with him (think he missed his daddy).  Since I didn't have to go to bed early, I sat up and enjoyed some wine and giggled with the girls!

Day 5

Woke up to rain, but it was brief and the sun was back out drying off everything.  We all got up and packed up our gear.  Mum arrived to hook up the van and we were all on the road heading home by 9.30am.  Clay and I had an amazing time and we can't wait for the next camping trip (still working out when and where!).
