Woodgate- Camping Day 2 & 3

Day 2

Up bright and early!  There was a bit of rain first up, but that cleared up after about 30 mins and it was a perfect day.  The kids played cards and games and we all just enjoyed spending time together at camp.

Once it cooled down in the afternoon, we headed to the river for a swim.  It was low tide and the water was a perfect temperature.  Kristy and I seam with the kids, while Bec and Dale fished.  They had a lot of nibbles and caught a few small fosh, but nothing decent for dinner.  The current in the river started to get strong and the sandflies came out, so we packed up and headed back to camp.

After our big day, Clay and I crashed early, but the reat of the night owls stayed up chatting.

 Day 3

Clay and I headed to the beach with a bucket and spade to play in the sand and collect shells.

Bec and the kids joined us and they all had fun building sandcastles and burying Connor.

Bec and Co went off fishing, so Clay and I had some water play with his new water pistol and a yummy ice block.  Then it was back to the river for another swim!

Playing with our new headlights before another early night to bed.
