Organising My Scraproom - Pegboard

My pegboard is still a work in progress :)  Kristy finally managed to find a 2nd pegboard for me at Ikea and gave it to me at Easter.  I have the habit of keeping my tools packed in a toolbox for crops, but I have been scrapping at home more so need to get used to having them out.

I have my various stamp presses and in the cup is a whiteboard eraser that I use to press down on my stamp press to get a better coverage on background / bigger stamps.  I haven't found a use for the clip- I think it might hold the microfibre cloth stamp cleaner.

Kristy's clever idea to store trimmers amd T-ruler in the bag.  Underneath are bottles of enamel accents.

Rolls of double sided and foam tapes on hooks and 2 shelves hold my alcohol inks and accessories.  Underneath I have more hooks, but I'm not sure what to store there yet.

I have a bit of space left on the board, so once I work out what else I want on there, then I will buy the shelves/hooks/ clips from Ikea.

It's Show Time!

Yesterday afternoon we spent the day at the annual Bundaberg show.  Clay was so excited - it was the first time he has been to the show :)  First stop was the dodgem cars!

We walked around looking at all the rides and sideshow alley to see what games  / rides we wanted to go on.

A visit to the animal nursery to pet the cute baby animals.

We visited the ambulance and police displays - Clay got to sit in the vehicles (and tun the sirens on) and have a chat with the ambulance and police officers.

We went through the pavilions to look at the sewing, baking / cooking, crafts, etc entries.

We then headed to the main arena to watch the woodchopping demonstration.

Back to sideshow alley for some more games and a ride on the Ferris wheel.

Nanny won a prize on the lucky numbers game!

Back to showbag alley to buy our showbags!

Craig got his dogwood dog :)

After 4.5 hours it was time to head home. Nanny gave Clay the unicorn - he loves it LOL

We drove back over to the showgounds after dinner to watch the fireworks- it was a great end to a fun day!

Thrifty Thursday

Mum, Clay and I had a fun morning out Sunday- we headed to the markets at Bargara.  We didn't buy anything, but it was nice to wander around looking at all the craft items and plants.  We were excited to see the vintage cars on show and Clay was treated to an offer to sit in one for a closer look and beeping the horn in another car - he was in heaven :)

Heading back into town we couldn't resist stopping in at an op shop for a look :)

Dress $6

Earrings $2 and necklace $3

Glass tumbler 50c - I have a crafty plan for this...stay tuned!
