After Clay's Bunnings DIY Sunday we popped into 2 oppies.

At the first shop I found some cute acrylic brooches $2 for the teacup and $1.50 for the palm tree.

Cricut Creations - Bridal Shower Mirror

I was asked to make a bridal shower mirror sign for the recently engaged couple I made the other mirror for.  It's always fun to make something new / different :)

80's Cruise

After lots of discussion and internet searches Craig has decided how he would like to celebrate his 50th birthday next month..... We managed to book a short cruise out of Brisbane! We quickly checked if I could get leave, which was approved and then we booked :)

Perfect timing as it sails out on his birthday - a 3 night short cruise.  Even more fun / exciting - it's the one Tabs and her family are going on for her birthday (she originally invited us when she booked) - so we can all celebrate together!

Cards

I've managed to spend some time in my scraproom lately:)  I got some cards made - the first card was uaing a new castle die & stencil set.  I also used a stamp set I've had in my stash that hadn't been inked yet.

This is a CASE of a card I spotted on Pintrest. I really like how this one turned out - might make a few more.

I made the 4x backgrounds a few weeks ago after being inspired by a video, but wasn't sure what I wanted to make with them. While I was searching through my stamps, I found my fave large floral set and decided to have a play - I'm really happy with the final product!

Craig brought a new retro hand held game for his collection, so I printed a few more stands for him:)

I couldn't resist making my Tesla obsessed little man a shirt to wear when he finally got to go for drive in one last weekend :)

 

Cricut Creations- Library Bag

Clay asked for a new school library bag - so I used a design Kristy had created to make one.  I will admit this is my 2nd attempt - the first one had to be thrown away when the green dinosaur layer didn't adhere down fully and got ruined when I tried to removed the cover sheet - doh!  I made a few changes to the design and the cutting & weeding was time.consuming, so the labour of love took a lot longer to finish then expected.  Clay absolutely loves it, so it was worth it all :)

Mini Adventures - Part 2

After we finished looking at the Mary Poppins displays we headed to City Hall to see the Peace Cake. 

While we were there the tourist information people suggest we look at the Cistern Chapel... Handpainted public toilets! They were absolutely stunning (and functioning)!

Last stop - Krispy Kreme donuts and slurpees before hitting the road!

We spotted this BIG Ned Kelly on the way out :)
