School Holidays- Week 1

Clay has had a busy first week of the holidays!  We had a change of plans with my poor mum having a fall while she was playing soccer with Jack and slipped on the ball and fell straight onto her back on to the cement! We had to call the ambulance out for 3 days in a row due to pain and she had an overnight stay in hospital, but is home and (slowly) on the mend. I looked after the 2 big boys until James could get down, so we had time playing, swimming and snuggling the piggies.

Nanny came to stay / babysat while I went back to work (after staying at mum's to help her) and Brodie has been over to swim, snuggle the piggies and go shopping. They went to see "The Wishmas Tree", had a surprise visit from Santa after the movie and popped into see Craig at work :)

Thursday night we finished off the last of our Christmas shopping!

Friday was "Daddy and Clay day" - so they headed off to the park :)

Saturday afternoon we went to a BBQ for Brodie's 16th birthday.

Today Clay joined me at the Simply Crafty Christmas party and our last ever scrap cub day as Linda and Dilys have decided to stop running the club - slightly sad day after 13 years :(  I didn't get much scrapping done, but enjoyed catching up with everyone, had a delicious lunch (I tried a new recipe - baked brie with walnuts, honey and rosemary) yummy!) and had Secret Santa.
