We headed to the Gold Coast Thusrday, unfortunately we hit a hail storm just north of Gympie. There was zero visibility, so we pulled straight over to wait it out while watching our poor cat get damaged and praying the windows didn't smash in on us! Poor Clay was in the back yelling and crying in absolute fear and we couldn't calm him down :( The storm passed in less than 5 mins and we drove to the closest service station so we could pull up and comfort Clay and inspect the damage. There were a LOT of other people pulled up and inspecting their cars too.
After that dramatic start to our trip, we continued on with a stop for donuts and got to Kristy's house in time for dinner.
