School Holidays- Week 2

Clay was feeling a bit better Monday, just in time for a whirlwind visit from Chris :)  He's between postings and came to stay overnight to see us before he heads off to Darwin after Christmas. We went out for a delicious meal before stopping to get some photos and see Clay's fave light displays :)  We had a few sneaky drinks and chatted afterwards.  

Tuesday Clay was feeling much better, so he and Nanny headed to the library for the Christmas stocking activity.

Wednesday Darcie came over for the morning so Nanny could babysit her.  She wasn't a happy camper and spent most of the morning crying, so Clay is rethinking wanting a baby sister LOL  They did have a splash in the pool, play in the yard and did some drawing together.

Thursday was another craft at the library- a Christmas placemat.  After that they went to visit Brodie for her birthday.

Friday was Craig's day off, so after they dropped Nanny off the boys went shopping to buy some last minute gifts and wrapped the presents.  I finished at 2pm, so we headed to buy Christmas food.  Luke was riding around town dressed as the Grinch with a friend who was dressed at Santa, so rang up to find Clay to see him :)  Then we dropped Clay off at Ma Ma's for a sleepover with the cousins - he had a ball!

Saturday morning Criag and I had brunch and brought the last of the xmas presents.  Clay was still having too much fun with Ma Ma and the boys,  so we spent the afternoon wrapping the last of the presents, putting Clay's new bike together and getting ready for xmas day. We picked up a very tired but happy boy and had an early dinner before heading out to see the lights one last time.  We even got to see a drone display!  We put the snacks out for Santa and the reindeers and Clay crashed into bed!.
