Cruise - Day 8

We started our morning fun at the Family Fun Fair in Back Circus - there were games, RC cars and craft activities.

Today's towel animal - rabbit!?!?  I love the little quotes our room stewards leave with them :)

Chilling on the lido deck - reading and playing games.

In the afternoon we met up with Lynton.  He had left us a letter stating how impressed he was with Clay and had arranged a surprise for him.  We met him at on deck 14 and were joined by the head of security David and the hotel director Melissa. Frim there we were taken to the bridge where Clay was g met the officer in watch Fancesco.  He got to a tour of the bridge and got to sit in the captain's seat :)  Clay got to ask lots of questions and even had a little drive of the ship!

At the end of the tour he was given a model of the ship that the captain signed.

Back to the arcade again.

We were invited to Meet The Officers get together - canapes and drinks at the Altitude on deck 18. David found us in the crowd and took Clay to meet the ship's captain Lorenzo and ask some more questions.  We met up with Lynton and the cruise director Abbie, who told Clay she had seen the photo of him (in the captain's chair) in their staffroom - Clay felt like a celebrity :)

Dessert was at the Pantry.
