I decided to include a handmade present with our mum's presents for Mother's Day this year. We painted a pot at the Bunnings family night, so I decided to add Clay's handprints and make them into butterflies. I think they turned out super cute! Hope our mum's like them.

Bunnings' Mother's Day Family Night
Last night Craig, Clay, Diane and I headed to the Mother's day family night at Bunnings. There were so many activities to do - some for kids and some for adults. Clay painted a plaster trinket box and a wooden flower decoration, decorated a teacup shaped card and painted a flower pot. Diane and I made a plant hanging from a grass mat - such a clever idea. I nade an extra one for mum - she was originally going to join us, but had a big day laying a new floating floor and was too sore & tired. The event was outside this time and a bit cool, but they had heaters to keep us warm. This time they had Dutch pancakes, sausage sizzle, popcorn and cakes/sweets. It was another fabulous night and we are looking forward to the next one!

Mother's Day Afternoon at Kindy
Today mum, Diane and I went to Clay's kindy for a Mother's Day afternoon. The kids did some songs and danced, read a story, then pampered us. We ate shortbread biscuits the kids made, Clay made us each a coloured pasta necklace, watched the activities and took some photos with the prop wall. Feeling very spoilt and loved by my gorgeous little boy xo

Play Date
My friend Lindalee and her son Jaxson recently moved back to town, so we arranged a catch up and play date for the kids. It was gorgeous weather today, so we headed to the Botanic Gardens playground for a play, then watched the steam train. We were having such a great time together, we headed off to grab a quick lunch.

Cards
I brought some Australian theme dies recently and once they arrived I couldn't wait to play!! The first card has an ink blended background.
These cards were made with an ink / water smooshing technique which I find quicker and easier than the blending technique.
I'm super happy with how big the dies actually were and how these all turned out.
