Just sharing a quick and easy kindy Easter gift idea. Kmart had a pack of Easter pencils & erasers for $5 (20 pencils which is the max number in Clay's class - perfect!). I used a cute new bunny & bow die to make chocolate bunnies, wrote "From Clay" in white gel pen on the back and then tied them to the pencils. All done!

Easter Hat Parade #1
Today Clay's kindy had an Easter hat parade so the kids could show off the hat's they had been making. Unfortunately Craig and I had to work and couldn't make it (which made me super sad), but Ma Ma and the cuzzies went along to cheer him on :) The kids did the parade and sung an Easter song, then the raffles were drawn. Clay was lucky to win a prize- he was so excited :)
His hat is so cute!

Kristy's Quick Visit
Kristy, Beth and Jack came up for a visit this weekend! Usually we have card camp, but this weekend was just to chill and catch up. They were supoosed to stay till Monday and then head off to another friend's, but Beth picked up extra shifts, so they had ro go home this arvo instead :(
They arrived late Friday night. Saturday morning we had a pancake breakfast, then headed off to do some shopping. Saturday afternoon we headed down to then each for pizza and a mini Easter celebration. It was pretty cold and windy, but still a fun afternoon.
After pizza, we stopped in to show them the view of the lights from the Hummock.
This morning Kristy, Clay and I headed to the local craft markets for a look - we found a few great scrappy bargains and Kristy and Clay got photos with some super heroes :)
After the markets we spent a few hours at Simply Crafty, before Kristy, Beth and Jack had to head home. Can't wait for the next visit!!

Bunnings Easter Family Night
Mum and I took the boys to the Easter Family last night. It was the first time we had ever been - I was surprised at the crazy number of people there, but it was really well organised and a fun night!
Clay and I started off at the face painting booth - how cute is my bunny??
From there Clay I made and decorated an Easter basket, then we went to the DIY section and all built a wooden crate.
From there we headed to the snacks and had sausage sizzle and fairy floss.
Craig finished work and joined us just in time to get photos with the Easter bunny and given a yummy chocolate bunny.
The boys finished off a fun filled night with one last jump on the bouncy castle. We will definately keep our eye out for more family night events in future:)

Clay's Birthday Party
This morning we finally had Clay's long awaited party LOL We headed to the park to set up the table and put up some decorations. The weather was perfect - nice and sunny and cool temps. Guests started arriving and kids headed off to the playground to play. Clay was super excited that a friend from kindy came along :)
This year I made and decorated the cake (usually I decide design and Craig makes /decorates). Clay gets to pick the party theme - this year it was Cars with a request for a Lightening McQueen cake. Clay was very happy with his cake :)
As per usual, I was too busy socialising to remember to take photos till it was time to cut the cake LOL, so I didn't get photos of everyone.

Everyday Moments
While the days have still been so hot - we headed to the waterpark again one weekend.
Cooling down at home in the splash pool- poor Indy got wet a few times with the water pistol LOL
There were a few rainy days last week, so the teachers did some face painting to entertain the kids at kindy. Clay has never had his face painted , so it was nice to see he has the patience to get it done.
We celebrated Craig's birthday with a custard tart :)
On Monday Clay helped Craig cook 2 dozen cupcakes to take to kindy for his birthday , then helped me ice and decorate then when I finished work.
