School Holidays- Week 1

It was nice change having the first week of the schools holidays off to spend time with Clay - especially since he was feeling so great after his surgery!  We managed to have a busy and fun filled week, with a bit of chilling out and I even squeezed in some card making!

Saturday morning Mum and the boys popped over to say hello and see how Clay was feeling.  Cohan and Clay put together Clay's new Lego kit.

Sunday mum and the boys came back over and we had a movie day - perfect for the rainy weather!

In the afternoon we got out a sun catcher craft kit I brought and decorated them - it was easy and fun!

Monday we went to Elliott Heads for a drive with mum and the boys.

Tuesday we headed to mum's for the day.  Mum finally gave into Jack's request for whipped cream LOL  We spent the afternoon playing soccer in the backyard with the dogs.

Wednesday Clay and I headed into town - we stopped to say hello to Craig at work, before heading to the chocolate shop for a chocolate frog :)  From there we popped into 3 op shops, Aldi and then the shopping centre for sushi lunch. After lunch we grabbed a birthday present from Kmart, them headed home.

I think Clay is enjoying the school holidays a bit too much...he asked me for a menu at breakfast on Thursday morning! LOL  I told Craig and he made and laminated a menu for Clay bahaha

Thursday we headed to the botanic gardens with Ma Ma and the boys (and Aunty Kate got back into town in time to join us for a bit too).

Friday I went back to work and it was Daddy and Clay day.  Unfortunately it was raining (again), so they went to Big W and Toyworld for a look / buy a toy with Clay's tooth fairy & pocket money.  They popped over and had lunch with me at work before heading home for a chilled out few hours before picking me up.

Saturday it was still raining, but we headed over to Lindalee and Josh's house to celebrate Jaxon's 5th birthday :)
