We were up and packed up early due to storm clouds coming across. After we were all packed up we had a nice, cool swim in the pool before heading off. We had heavy rain just as we left Yeppoon and were worried it would be all the way home, but it lasted less than 5 minutes! We stopped for an early lunch at MacDonalds in Rockhampton, then hit the road. We were watching the road reports to see if we could actually get into Bundaberg due to flooding - 250ml in 24 hours! We got to Miriam Vale and ddecided not to risk going the back way and just keep heading along the highway through Gin Gin. Once we got to Gin Gin we saw that the road to Bundaberg had re-opened! Finally made it home and unpacked! We loved our 5 days away and can't wait for our next trip :)
