Borumba Deer Park - Camping Day 2

Sunday morning was our turn for breaky - pancakes, bacon and maple syrup!

Time to wear our camp shirts!

Clay and I popped up to the kiosk so he could get a picture for the colour in competition they had running.

Once everyone was dressed and ready to go- we all hppped into our cars for the day's exploring. First stop was at Imbil to go to the markets. Then on to Melany in search of cheese, fudge and chocolate :)  We wandered up the main street looking in shops (even found an op shop!).  We brought coffee (Craig) and salted caramel (me) fudge at the shop :)

From there we headed to Montville and we stopped at this amazing lookout on the way!

Montville - we found this cute dinosaur and koala as we were looking for somewhere for lunch.  The others went a separate way to do more shopping while Craig, Clay and I enjoyed a delicious lunch with live music - nice way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon!

We went a different way back to camp - down the mountain was extremely steep, narrow, one way, winding dirt road.  I was a complete nervous wreck the whole way down and will admit Craig had to stop once we got to the bottom so I could be sick :(  My usual trick of distracting myself by taking photos DID NOT work!

We headed to Lake Borumba for a look- we didn't realise how HUGE it was!

Back at camp we went down to the creek for a look.

More feeding the animals, roasting marshmallows and chatting about the day's exploring.  Craig and I were on dinner duty - something new on the camping menu- rissole and salad burgers!  Craig and Clay headed back to the camper to watch the footy grand final while us girls sat around chatting.
