Mother's Day

I had a lovely Mother's Day :)  I woke up to cute presents from Clay.  My fave present was this jar with notes about what he loves about me and vouchers.  I did laugh when he wrote "only available on weekends" on a neck massage voucher LOL

I also got a new mixer - my curremt one broke recently- not bad for over 15 years old!

We headed over to my mum's for the morning to have morning tea and give her our gifts.

Craig & Clay took me out for Chinese lunch - delicious! Then we popped out to see Craig's mum and give her our gifts.

Thrifty Thursday

One of the techs at work loves to op shop and found me some Tupperware for my collection :)

Clay and I popped into an op shop on Saturday- nice to get to one that we don't usually get to!

Cool buttons $1

Building tiles $3 - Clay thought these were magnetic ones.  If he doesnt like them, I will pop them in the donation box I have for his school- books and some educational games.

Clay also found some books $2 each

Book $3 - I enjoyed the recent book I finished by this author, so happily grabbed this book.

GC Weekend

Clay had an appointment at the Children's hoapital on Friday, so we decided to spend the weekend with Kristy :)

Saturday morning we were hoping to go to an Anzac parade, but pouring rain and thunderstorms stopped that idea so instead we helped Kristy with a few things around the house.  At lunch time the boys headed to Westfield for lunch and spend the afternoon at iPlay.

Kristy had a cricut social afternoon organised so we packed our gear in the car and headed off.  It was a lovely relaxed afternoon - chatting and crafting :)

Before dinner Craig, Clay & I popped down the road to check out the newly opened Kriapy Kreme.  It was pretty cool seeing the glazed donuts being made.

This morning we were up early - Kristy had an appointment and then a cricut demo and we we headed home.  Another fun-filled & whirlwind visit :)
