Burnett Heads Adventure

Yesterday Clay and I took mum and the boys to see the pirate ship "Notorious" anchored in the Burnett river. As we were walking along we spotted this large carpet python sunbaking - Craig only had just warned me yesterday to watch for snakes when we looked at the boat!

After looking at the ship we decided to have a look around and explore Burnett Heads.  We stopped in a park where the orginal lighthouse and flagstaff are now on display and had a picnic lunch.  The boys had fun using the gym exquipment - watching Clay doing sit ups was hilarious!  After lunch the boys got on their scooters and we walked along the footpath down to the mouth of the river for a look and then to a goreous old tree where the boys practiced swining off the vines like tarzan LOL

From there we had a drive around having a look - we found a new beach we are going to have a swim at at a skate park to take the boys!  It's always fun to explore your local area :)
