Spartan Party

After an afternoon at Ollie's birthday party, we headed home to get dressed ready for a Spartan themed 30th birthday party.  Clay stayed home with Nanny and we headed off for a night out :)  We chatted with friends, met new people, had a delicious BBQ dinner and enjoyed having a nice, relaxing time.

Birthday Party

This afternoon we headed to a 7th birthday party.  It was a end of summer theme - so lots of water play, splash pools, water balloons, etc - most of the kid's where a lot bigger than Clay, so he stayed on the patio out of the way (and stayed dry LOL).  He did have a bounce on the trampoline - another new favourite fun activity ;)  Clay also had his first taste of fairy bread and LOVED it!

With Simply Crafty and a scrap night at home with friends once a month, I'm managing to get a few layouts started (and a few finished LOL).  

Thrifty Thursday

I got to pop into a few op shops over the last fortnight.  Found lots of goodies for Clay :)

Large bottle of beads $3.  These are perfect to melt into DIY enamel dots for scrapping :)  

Valentine's Day

We don't make a big deal of Valentine's Day - usually just exchange cards, but because this was Clay's first "Love Day" we did something a little special.  We brought him a card and a cute toy elephant.  For breakfast I made pink pancakes - I did try to shape them into hearts, but that was a BIG fail LOL

Clay thought the pancakes were delicious - we broke off pieces to start with which he gobbled up.  Then we gave him a whole pancake - his eyes grew so big when he saw it LOL - he ate a bit of it.

Then he realised Indy was sitting under his high chair, so he threw it on the ground so he could share! Ooops ;)

Coffee Catch Up

This morning Cathie, Kylie and I caught up at a new cake shop.  We enjoyed a delicious piece of cake each, while chatting.  It was our last chance for a girl's date before Kylie was due to have bub.
