Cricut Creations - Keyring

The latest Cricut Design Space update meant I finally was able to use some functions I didn't have access to using an Andriod - offset, combine, warp, etc.  I saw a cool keychain idea using the offset function and decided to create one with my name... it was very simple to do! It was also the first time I used the rotary blade tool :)  I did over heat and melt the faux leather a little bit when I ironed on the sparkly pink HTV, but I will know for next time!  I absolutely love how this turned out!  I will definitely making more for all my family and friends (especially the ones with unusual names /spellings)!

Surgery

Clay had surgery this morning for another set of grommets and he was a total tropper!  He was only in surgery for 15 minutes and the surgeon said all went well. He was very sore and upset when he came out, but padadol settled him down. We had a quiet day at home and he's much perkier now.

Card

In between labelling the toiletry bottles and packing for retreat I made a card for another work friend :)

Cricut Creations - Cricut Tool Box

While we were at Ikea last trip Kristy and I picked up these plastic boxes and found a caddy that fit in there perfectly and decided to use them as cricut tool boxes!

With the retreat coming up of course I couldn't take it without any decorations... so in between packing for retreat I made some Cricut cutie stickers :)  I love how it turned out!

When you should be getting organised for cricut retreat, but procrastinate by labelling the toiletry bottles you've had sitting on the shelf waiting to be labelled for 6 months LOL

Thrifty Thursday

Clay and I hit the oppies Sunday morning before we headed to mum's. At the first shop I found a pile of Close To My Heart stamp sets! I brought 5 sets for myself and 1 for Kristy - $6 each! Super excited by this find! I messaged a friend to tell her that there were stamps sets at the shop in case she wanted to pop in for a look. 

I found some fabulous goodies at the 2nd shop too :)

Card

I got some cute balloon animal stamps from the op shop on the weekend and while looking for ideas I found a card idea on Pinterest that bordered on rude and was inspired to make this card for a work friend who I knew would find it hilarious LOL

Everyday Moments

 Katie and her GF Ash dropped in on the way home - it was nice to meet Ash :)

Then they stopped back to the GC and had the boys with them - Clay was so excited to see them :)  They gave me a beautiful bunch of flowers.

This fur baby is 15 1/2 years old and still gets the zoomies like a puppy LOL

It was Clay's class for Bluey's rules presentation.

We went out for dinner on Friday night.

Feeling very snuggly in my new jammies the boys got me for Mother's day :)

Last night Nanny came over for her belated Mother's day celebration, then today Clay and I headed to my mum's to celebrate with her :)

Student of the Week

We are super proud of Clay - he had great feedback at the parent/teacher interview last week and this week he got Student of the Week! Unfortunately we didn't get a letter telling us, so we weren't at the parade, but Clay understood.

Keyrings

I'm excited to share something new I've made - wooden keyrings with silicone beads. It was a little tricky finding a cord to fit, but found a pack in Kmart with colours that matched my beads! Then I  worked out how to thread the cord using a hook from some crafting wire. I think they turned out really cute and will personalise with a name / word.

Mother's Day

I had a lovely Mother's Day today :) Our original plans changed due to the car still being at the panel beaters (hail damage repairs). We had a quiet day at home and will celebrate with both mum's next weekend.

I was spoilt with a note and presents Clay brought from the school stall - mug and small flower vase :)

I also got a Pandora charm, the fluffiest pajamas and a scoring tool for my Cricut - very spoilt!

Craig and Clay made me croissants for breakfast and my fave chicken dish for dinner.  We spent the day just relaxing at home - I managed to get a few craft projects finished and FINALLY used my hot glue gun :)

Cards

Kristy is doing a clean up / destash of her craftroom and offered me this Stampin Up! card kit - it has everything you need (except scissors).
