Watering the Garden

Clay decided to "help" Ma Ma water the gardens this afternoon.  Of course he didn't stay dry for long because he just had to have a drink!   Lol I got hosed in the face while trying to snap photos!  Lol

The expression on Clay's face in this photo makes me laugh out loud every time I look at it :D

It was all fun and games hosing mummy down, but when it came time to turn the tap off he tried to get Ma Ma too lol

Everyday Moments

Clay is still going to weekly swimming lessons - good thing the pool is heated :)  I get to go every fortnight and can see how much he is improving!!

We went to the Hummock (a lookout wirh 360* views) to see if we could spot the USA places that were travelling south, unfortunately they were too far off the coastline to see :( we decided to go for a drive around and went to see the HMAS Tobruk which is currently being dismantled before taken out to see and sunk for an artificial reef.

We celebrated our nephew Andrew's 16th birthday with a small family party.  It's so nice to see all the cousins playing together :)

We celebrated Christmas in July at Simply Crafty - busy day of scrapping,  chatting, Secret Santa amd a delicious lunch!

Still regularly painting :)

We joined Katie and Olivia at the beach side playground one morning.  Lots of running and playing :)  it was hilarious to watch Katie climb up one of the forts to rescue Olivia when she got stuck lol

Morning at the Zoo

This morning was a lovely sunny day and since we didn't have to rush off to swimming lessons we thought we would head to the zoo for a look.  It's only a small zoo, but still enough to enjoy a wander around looking at all the animals :)

Thrifty Thursday

I have only visited a few op shops over the last month or so, but have been lucky with FB buy/swap/sell  (BSS) page and a garage sale find from mum.

Basket $2.50

Egg tray $1.50 - will use this to hold small bits & pieces for crafting or paint

Cookie cutters $1 for set of 4 and 10c for dinosaur cutter

Favourite find - a new set of pink wooden beads $8.95!  These were super exciting because I saw the same set last year, but didn't buy them. When I went back the next day to buy them - they were gone - total non-buyers remorse LOL

Playdoh set $3 and art smock $2 from the same seller on BSS

Mum's garage sale find - perfect timing as we were just discussing adding some hanging plants to the front verandah.  Baskets $2 each and plant hooks 50c each.

Play Date at YMazing

This morning Clay and I joined some old workmates for a catch up and to celebrate a birthday.  It was lovely to spend time chatting with them and Clay had an absolute ball in the play centre.
