School Holidays - Week 3

After Christmas day week 3 was a lot slower and more chilled out! Craig went back to work on Wednesday so Clay and I had a few quiet days at home together. Rainy weather meant not as many swims as we hoped, but we managed a few :)

Nettie, Dennis and Andrea came back from their trip to Bribie Island to spend a few days with us. Mum popped over to say see them and Clay ended up going home and spending the afternoon with her. While everyone was out I managed to pack away all the Christmas decorations and trees.

Nettie cooked chicken shoarma for dinner one might which was a surprising huge hit with Clay (he doesn't like anything with too much herbs / spices).

Saturday Clay went to see the new Wonka movie with Andrea.

Christmas Day 2023

We were up at 5.30am to check out all the goodies Santa had left in Clay's stocking :)

Then out to the loungeroom to open our presents - everyone was very happy with all the presents they recieved.

Testing out the new scooter and the range of the walkie talkies LOL

Ma Ma popped in with a present :)

More presents when Nanny and then Poppy arrived for lunch.

Delicious lunch of ham, prawns and salads.

Craog testing out his new tumbler while waiting for a surprise visitor....

The Grinch (AKA Uncle Luke) dropped in to say hello and give Clay his present - Clay was so excited!

A lazy afternoon chilling in the air con, eating nibblies and pavlova - we had such a wonderful, relaxed day :)

School Holidays - Week 2

Week 2 was just as busy as week 1 LOL

Monday - swims and chilling at home with Nanny, then Christmas lights with Lindalee, Nettie and families.

Tuesday Nanny and Clay caught a bus to town to a shopping centre to have story time with Mrs Claus and decorating cookies.

Christmas decoration at the gym :)

Wednesday Craig started his leave, so the boys popped into work to have lunch with me and then enjoyed a swim. We went to see more Christmas lights.

The techs at work can be naughty when left unsupervised! Bahahahaha

Thursday was present shopping and ice creams with Daddy. Nettie, Dennis and Andrea picked Clay up and they headed off to the zoo / park and botanic gardens, then back home for the kids to have a swim and we all had dinner together.

Friday the boys popped into Craig's work to deliver a cake and wish Kerrie a happy birthday. Our niece Brodie turned 18 and all the family celebrated with a BBQ and cake. We spotted the Christmas tree drone up in the sky as we headed home.

Saturday- my first official day of xmas break! I braved the shops with mum to help her buy the boy's Christmas presents, then met up with Craig and Clay to do our Christmas day lunch shopping.  Afternoon floating in the pool and then off to see more Christmas lights!

Sunday Kristy, Bethany, Granu, Alyssa and LBD travelled from Murgon for a visit for Christmas eve lunch and a swim. It was a lovely relaxed day chatting, too much food and the weather was perfect! Clay and I FINALLY made the kit kat cabin - very messy but lots of fun!  Christmas eve tradition - stocking next to the bed and treats left out for Santa, reindeers and the elves :)
