I finally remembered to take photos of the layouts I scrapped last month when Tanya & Kylie came over for a scrap day :) The first layout was one I had nearly completed at month's ago - just needed to add the photo and title. The 2nd layout I struggled with - I originally had stitching and more watercolouring, but ended up covering it with pattern paper. I'm still not 100% happy with the finished layout - might end up re-scrapping it later. The 3rd layout I started while I was scrapping with the girls, but was still motivated to scrap, so headed down to my scrap room the next to finish it and also scrapped the 4th layout :)

Lovely weather meant another day at our favourite park - enjoying the playgrournd and spending time together :)
I tore 2 ligaments in my right knee last month - ended up having to call an ambulance to take me to hospital to get it looked at. They gave me the "green whistle" (painkiller) and t hit me quickly! I love our expressions - me blissed out from the painkillers and Craig's expression cause I was giving him a hard time LOL
When tropical cyclone Debbie hit we had a day where the rain and wind was really strong, so all the businesses closed early - Joel and I had to put on the wet weather gear so we could leave the workshop :)
I had a busy day the day before Clay's birthday - cooked 3 cakes for the birthday cake and a batch of cupcakes
Clay "helping" (hindering?!!?) Craig to build the trampoline that Nan brought him for his birthday :)

Craig, Diane & Clay headed off to attend the ANZAC parade (I didn't go due to be unable to stand for too long). Clay really enjoyed the parade this year apart from when he was a bit frightened of the planes doing a flyby. After the parade they walked around to the cenotaph to watch the ceremony and lay some rosemary.
Our friend Chris was the 'Army flag bearer at the ANZAC game again this year - so we excitedly watched him on TV. So proud of him!

We've had a few different days were I've used some Pinterest ideas. It took a little while to get into it, but then the coloured foam play was popular. - especially using the spoons to transfer the foam to the cup.
He didn't really like the "no mess" finger painting idea - I'm guessing it might be because he's used to getting messy with paints.
I have lots more kid's activities pinned and am looking forward to trying them out with Clay :)
We made these butterflies using part of Clay's paintings for Ma Ma & Nanny for Mother's Day (good thing they don't have computers / read the blog LOL).

There was great excitement this morning to find the Easter bunny had arrived :) Lots of "oh wow" when Clay saw the Easter basket and goodies. He immediately grabbed the chocolate bunny and started to unwrap it - nothing like having some chocolate before breakfast ;) He actually didn't eat any of it - just mainly licked it LOL Once he realised there wee toy cars in the basket the chocolate was quickly forgotten while he played with them and the dinosaurs that Ma Ma gave him for Easter.
Craig pointed out the bunny prints on the floor and Clay was closely inspecting them going "oh no" (think he was worried he would get blamed for all that mess! LOL). Craig asked him how did that "Piggies" ha ha ha
We popped into see Nanny in the afternoon adn she gave Clay his Easter present - flannelette pjs. Then off to the park for a play the cuzzies, Ma Ma and aunty Kate. Craig also took his drone so he could have a practice flying it in more open space.
Finished a lovely day with delicious roast dinner at Diane's.

Craig had to work, but Clay and I enjoyed a lovely morning celebrating Jaxson's 4th birthday today. The kids played lots of lovely traditional games - pin the tail, egg & spoon race, treasure hunt, etc - lots of fun! It appears the birthday boy was having such a fun time running around that no-one got a photo of hiim with his cake (only video) - oops :)

Today was Clay's 2nd birthday! We got up and opened a few presents :) Craig decorated the birthday cake and we packed the party gear in the car. After last years big celebration, we decided to to have a party at the park with friends & family. We got to the park and started setting up, then realised the toilets were out of order - oops!! Quick calls to the guests and we headed to a different park. The decorations were put up & food set out and the party started :) The kids played in the playground and the adults got a chance to catch up. We cut the cake and sang happy birthday, a bit more playing and then packed up. The birthday boy was spoilt with lots of lovely gits and had a ball spending the morning with all his favourite people. He was so worn out from such a busy morning, that he crashed out when we got home LOL
