Cricut Creations - File Storage Container

We needed a solution for all of Clay's school, school  photos and certificates, so I decided to go with a plastic suspension file container.  I added his name to the front and top to decorate it.

I labelled the files - medical and kindy to grade 6. I'll label the high school files and any other relevant files as needed.

Clay thought it was a great idea and helped me sort and file all his paperwork.  I had it all over the place - in shelves, in folders in cupboards and some on the fridge - it's fantastic to have everything all in one place!

Macrame Earrings

I brought this craft kit from Reject Shop last year for $10 and made the earrings a few months ago, but have only just remembered to share pics :)

I changed these colours around a bit and instead of making 2x necklaces I turned them into earrings.  I also used the cream rope for necklaces to make the feather earrings instead.

Everyday Moments

While I was working on some cards Clay decided to design a treasure map.

Craig brought me a HP pop vinyl to add to my collection.

Craig sent me these gorgeous flowers "just because" - makes my heart happy :)

Book week school pics.

The latest crop of passionfruit off our vine - I've been feezing the pulp to use later for cooking.

We took Clay and his friend Mitch to the park this morning to kick the soccer ball around and have a play. After they finished playing we headed to McDonald's for an ice cream / frozen drink :)

Weekend on the Gold Coast

We have had a busy and fun filled 4 day weekend on the Gold Coast! Friday we headed down and first stop once we arrived was our first visit to Costco for a look - pretty impressive! We brought some goodies to try and had a hot dog and a HUGE slice of pizza - delcious! I couldn't resist the massive insulated Costco bag or the Mickey Mouse Pyrex :) After a dinner of Costco food LOL I used Kristy's tools to re-make Clay's airshow shirt (I had issues at home with HTV and my heat press).  Kristy and I swapped some gifts - she gave me a Cricut cutie- i am so freaking excited!! And check out the cup her step-mum made one for both of us!!

Saturday morning we were up early, packed our beach trolley with an esky & chairs and caught the tram to Surfers Paradise for the Pacific Airshow - so exciting!  There were THOUSANDS of people there, but we got through the gates quickly and set up our  spot on the beach. The planes were amazing to watch and the program was non stop! We didn't move the whole 5.5 hrs in case we missed something LOL We all had an amazing time and agreed we are coming back next year!

Sunday our friend M and her family joined us for lunch and spent the afternoon catching up :)  Afterwards Kristy and I popped out to Costco and Spotlight to grab a few things.  Check out the size of the bag of chips!!! We set up the Cricut gear and I had a play with new infusable bags from Kmart - it didn't turn out well, but I learnt some new things.

This morning we were up early to head into Brisbane for Clay's annual ophthalmologist visit.  All good news and will see them in 12 months time. It was a slow and long trip home due to traffic congestion up until Gympie. So glad to be home!
