Flourish Family Fun Day

Clay and Nanny headed to the Flourish Family Fun Day today.  They spent the morning doing all the craft activities, going on the rides and participating in all the activities - he had a fabulous time!  He couldn't wait to tell us all about it and show us all the goodies he got :)

He decided to wander over and ask to be interviewed for the local news :)

We watched the news tonight and he was on there - he was so excited!

Cricut Creations - Wedding Keepsake Shadow Box

I made this keepsake shadow box for Adam & Jacinta to display bits & pieces (cake flowers, corsage, ribbons, invitation, copies of their vows, polarioids, etc).  

It doesn't show up in the photos, but I did some tone on tone stamping all over the background - flowers, leaves and tiny hearts. You can see it in real life and it's much prettier than just a plain background.

Cricut Creations - Spotify Acrylic Frame

The minute I saw it, I knew i wanted to make a Spotify wedding song acrylic block frame as a wedding gift for Adam & Jacinta!  I saved the Spotify song code and converted to a SVG in Cricut Design,  then got the play list design file SVG online, created the song & singer title in Cricut Design and then cut it all out.  The song code and title where so small and fiddly - it took me 2x goes to get it all cut out and weeded!  But the end result was totally worth it!

Card

I went with a boho theme to match the wedding for Adam & Jacinta's wedding card - I love how it turned out :)

Sunday In The Park

We decided to head to Maryborough to Sunday In The Park event - perfect for our train loving little boy!  The mini trains were running and Clay finally got to ride them - he loved it!

The Maryborough Excelsior City Band was playing some great songs!

We wandered down to the river to take a ride on the steam train :)  The track went along side the river and up to the park.

We spotted this robot dog.

Clay burnt off some energy on the jumping castle, before having a snow cone!

The Pipe Band performed - I love bagpipes!

We had lunch at the same pub we went to last time we were there - no Fruit Tingle slushie this time though LOL On the way back to the car we spotted this man creating gorgeous sidewalk art.

It was a wonderful way to spend the day together!

Everyday Moments

I had the day off for my birthday, so Craig and I FINALLY got to see the nee Top Gun Maverick movie - so good!!   We both loved every minute of it - definitely recommend going to see it!

I'm not a huge drinker, but couldn't resist asking for a bottle of this limited edition rum for my birthday :)  

We were surprising Clay and Jax with a kid's s disco, but when we got there we found out it had been cancelled, so we decided to head to a sports club to check out a band!  Lindalee and I had a cocktail each and we all hit the floor and danced up a storm! Lots of fun!

We went out to Chinese dinner - Clay wanted a photo with the lobsters, I didn't have the heart to explain they were on the menu LOL
