Cards

I love this tie dye background stamp! After I made the backgrounds I was a little lost on how to make them into cards, but decided to keep them simple :)

Cards

The combination of school holidays and having some time off means I have found my cardmaking mojo!!  A heap of new craft goodies also helped with my motivation ;)  I started with these 3x rainbow cards.

Beach Adventure

Today Clay and I joined mum and the boys for an adventure! We set off with no particular destination in mind and ended up at Elliott Heads where we spotted some kite surfers, so headed to the beach for a closer look!  We watched the kite surfers and a wind surfer zooming across the ocean - it 3as a pretty windy day!  Jack and Clay searched for shells and had a tun on the beach for a bit.

After our beach adventure,  we had some lunch and an ice cream - fun way to end our morning out.

Family Dinner

Last night we went out to dinner with Craig's family to celebrate his brother Adam's birthday.  Clay was so excited to see baby Darcie again :)  We all got cuddles with her and Clay was talking to / playing with her.  We enjoyed a lovely meal and bortnday cheesecake.  There was a great band playing and Clay dragged Sonya and Nanny up for a few dances :).

Everyday Moments

Storm clouds rolling in one afternoon on the way home from work.

We had a heavy fog that lasted till mid-mornong one day last week.

Clay and I went searching for some items to investigate under his new microscope - we found tree bark, flowers, rocks and a stick.

We had a play with the new board game I got at the op shop.

My little mate was so excited to see me that he landed on the table with such speed that he slid off the other side LOL

Aunty Kate spoilt Clay with a new teddy :)

Clay's tooth has been wobbly since the first one fell out, but only this week got really wobbly and we thought it would fall out.  Clay warned the surgeon it was wobbly and asked him not to knock it out LOL  They told him if it fell out they would give it Craig :)  Today it was super wobbly and hanging on by a bit.  We tried to tie floss around it so we could shoot it out with a NERF gun, but it was too loose to tie LOL  After lots of playing with it - it finally came out :)

ENT Surgery

Clay had another round of surgery today- this time it was tonsils and adenoids out and grommets in.  Luckily we got the surgery done here in Bundaberg, so we didn't have to travel.  It was day surgery, so we went in just after 10am.  They had a heap of knitted teddies that the kids got to pick one if they wanted- what a thoughtful idea! Clay decided that Craig was going to go with him while he was put under.  Wasn't long before Craig was in the scrubs gear and they were going off!

Craig was instructed to wait outside the operating theatre and afterwards the surgeon came out to say that the operation was a total success and that his tonsils and adenoids were huge, so adenoids went too (weren't sure about them until he went under). After he woke up in recovery Craig and I swapped over and I sat with Clay while he slept for a bit more (still cuddling his teddy).

Once he woke up fully we went into the recovery lounge where he had a bit of sandwich and some ice cream.  The surgeon came around and checked all the kids and we just had to wait till 5pm and Clay was discharged and we headed home.

He's a bit emotional and sore, but quite settled at the moment.

Late Afternoon Play

Today we headed over to a park to check out the new play equipment and zero-depth water area that was opened yesterday.  We weren't the only ones excited to check it out - the place was packed LOL  Clay had a fantastic time running around and playing with all the other kids :)  We got some lovely family photos too!
