Santa's Arrival

I got called in to do a extra shift for Santa photos at the other shopping centre today.  It was arrival day for Santa , so mum and Clay came along to watch the parade and join in the activities.

Thrifty Thursday

More op shopping means more clothes :)  Losing weight constantly is a good excuse to update my wardrobe and op shopping is the cheapest way to go!

I got this dress for $9 - a little more than I usually pay, but I love the fabric and style and it has pockets!!!!  It's a bit too long, so my Mum and I will hem it up.

Pirate Week

This week was Pirate and Princess dress up week at Kindy :)  Clay picked this cute costume out at Kmart and was excited for dress up day!  I cant wait to scrap these super cute photos!

Everyday Moments

I planted some string succulent cuttings in a pot on the front verandah - hopefully the do better in the part shade.

We went out to dinner with Craig's workmates - it was lovely to catch up with Tanya :)  The pizza we had was delicious!!

Clay and I have started making some candy cane reindeer to give to his kindy friend's.

We took Clay to an indoor play centre for a treat :)

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

We have been starting to get ready for Christmas :)

Clay got new Minion amd Spiderman tree decorarions this year and I wasn't keen in them going on my pink theme tree (yes I'm a bad mummy LOL), so yesterday we went to Kmart and brought Clay a little tree and let him pick out his own decorations for it.  Clay and Craig set it up while I was working with Santa.  Clay was so proud and excited to show me :)

We set up and decorated the big tree and unpacked the train as well.

Time to change the message board (and get to use the Chritmas lettering / shapes I ordered online) LOL

Christmas Bells

This morning Clay and I went over to mum's to decorate some mini terracotta pots into bells.  I saw the cute gingerbread house idea on Pinterest that we wanted to make.  Mum and I painted bells and Clay painted pictures :)

Thrifty Thursday

Just one thrifty find to share today :)  I popped into an op shop after the Santa breakfast last weekend  It's a small op shop and I forget that it's there (so rarely visit it), so it was nice to have a wander around and look.  I found this gorgeous dress and when I went to pay I was told everything storewide was half price, so this only cost $1.50!

  

Prep 2020

I'm not ready to face reality, but...our little man is heading off to "big boy" school next year!  Waaahhhh LOL  We've already enrolled him months ago and today took him to an open classroom day at the school to meet his teachers and some of his new classmates.  He enjoyed playing in the playground and then inside to talk with the teachers and do some activities.  He seems to like his teachers and is excited about the big adventure next year :)
