Childers Multicultural Festival

Nanny joined us for our annual visit to the Childers Multicultural Festival today :) A street lined with market stalls selling lovely goodies, lots of roving entertainment, musicians on stages, and another section of food trucks / stalls! We wandered around for 3 hours looking at the stalls and entertainers - it eas a lovely day!

Thrifty Thursday

Saturday morning op shopping means a bigger choice of shops to visit!

At the first shop I found a book $2 and Tupperware sandwich keepers $1 each (much cheaper than last week's finds).

At the 2nd shop Clay found the robot $3 and Hot Wheels cars $3 & $1

At the 3rd shop I found some more books $5 each

Sunday Fun

We headed to the beach yesterday for a catch up with Tabs and Torrie - there was rock pool exploring, hot chips for lunch, playing in the playground and the ice creams - a lovely way to spend the afternoon!  On the way home we went to The Hummock lookout and could see the bush fires that have been burning.

Mum popped over for a visit Saturday- even through we talk multiple times a week, our busy schedules mean we haven't actually seen her for while - so Clay was ecstatic :)

Last Sunday we went to Bunnings for part 2 of the DIY workshop- decorating the crate.
