Pregnancy Week 29-32

Week 29
I had an ultrasound this week to check baby's size - the sonographer took lots of pictures and measurements, but I didn't get them on a disk this time :(  Baby is still in breech position.  We also had the car seat installed in the car.

Week 30
Saw the obstetrician again this week, who checked the ultrasound results - he advised that baby is the right size for week 30 (no longer a week bigger than they originally scanned him at).  I had my long awaited baby shower with friends and family (I'm doing a separate post for this).

Week 31
My baby bump continues to grow bigger every day :)  I have been busy washing the baby clothes and linens form the baby shower.

Week 32
I am fascinated with watching baby move and kick in my belly - he is still very active.

Thrifty Thursday

I've been doing some nesting / decluttering again lately and while dropping off some bags of stuff at the op shops I had to pop in and have a look :)

Cute baby rompers $1 each

Someone has been clearing out their craft stash!  Wooden stamps set of 2 and stamp sets $2.  I knew I already had the clear set, so I made a quick call to Tanya to see if she would like them.

Sticker makers $1 each!  I already have one, but couldn't pass up a great bargain LOL  Tanya is getting one and I'll offer the other one to someone at Simply Crafty.

Diane found me 2 sets of Babushka dolls to add to my collection - $2 each :)

Chest of Drawers Makeover

Remember the chest of drawers I found at the op shop a few weeks ago?  Great size, but ugly blue drawers and knobs - definately in need of a makeover :)

I gave it a quick sand and a few coats of satin enamel paint and finished it off with some silver knobs.  I love how this turned out!

Next makeover is the bedside cupboard I brought last year!

Cards

To keep me motivated to scrap Tanya and I have been having a weekly "scrap date" LOL  Last week found a packet of printed images in my stash (it was a freebie with a card making magazine) and decided to practice my colouring techniques.  Yesterday I finished making some cards using the images :)
