After our card making on the Gold Coast weekend Kristy got bitten by the crafty bug :) She started buying supplies and making a few cards, then when a long weekend came up she decided to come for a visit and have a card retreat with me! There was kits if messages making plans and sjaring photos of the new dies and stamps we had beought off ebat :) We had 4 days of crafting, chatting and shopping - it was fabulous!
Kristy arrived early Friday morning- not bad for a 5 hour drive - think someone was excited lol We popped into a fes cheapie shops and a scrapbook shopro ouck up a few supplies, then headed down to my scrap room to play! We started by creating 3x mixed media backgrounds. Then sorted out supplies amd cut a few things out with our new dies.
Kristy tried on the butterfly print dress I found at the op shop - perfect fit and she loved it! So Saturday morning waa spent looking for a belt snd shoes to match - no luck for either unfortunately :(
Saturday night was girl's scrap night! We had pizza for dinner and had a late night card making and chatting.
Sunday we celebrated Father's Day in the morning and in the afternoon headed back to the scrap room where we had a little helper join us for a play :)
Another late night Sunday night finishing cards and more die cutting. Monday morning was packing up and Kristy had to head home. It was a wonderful weekend and I hope we can do it again soon!
