Mt Perry - Camping Days 3 & 4

Day 3 - We started the day with a few games of tennis before the kids cooked us pancakes for breakfast.

We went for a drive to see Boolboonda Tunnel and the bats.

We went for a drive through the bush to Normanby Lookout.

Back to camp for lunch, then I took the kids to the park and a sneaky ice cream while mum taught Bec & Kristy how to crochet.

We took a drive to Mingo Crossing for a look.  Mum really liked the dam & the caravan park there and said she will go camping there one weekend. Bec, Dale and the kids did some fishing, but only caught one small catfish.

Afternoon tea was delicious!

Clay was very excited to find we had a fire to roast marshmallows!   He did ask what else we could cook / burn  LOL  There was a 4WD jamboree at the  showgrounds on the weekend too and we got to watch the fireworks show they had.   Finished the night with trivia games and chatting.

Day 4 - We were all up, packed up and ready to head off for 10am checkout.  We all had a wonderful weekend and can't wait for next year's camping trip!
