Day 1- Clay has his annual hospital check up, so we decided to head to the Gold Coast to spend the weekend with Kristy:) We were up early and headed off Saturday morning, we stopped at Caboolture for Krispy Kreme :)
We can't go to the GC without a trip to Ikea LOL
We had lunch at Hyperdome and Kristy finished up with her friend's farewell lunch, then joined us there for our usual shopping spree at Daiso!
On the way back to Kristy's we detoured to Imagine Vinyl so I could grab some vinyl from their cool vending machine :)

Kristy took some lovely family photos of us (will share in a separate post), but Clay and I did snap a few on my phone.
My friend Michelle and her family joined us for brunch at Kristy's - was so lovely to see them all again. Another school friend Jen was going to join us but her partner has covid, so she stayed home :(
We headed to Game Over to take Clay go karting - he LOVED it! Craig said he was yelling in excitement the whole 14 laps LOL
We had a play in the arcade too and Clay and I both had a go of the massage chair LOL
Stopped at 7Eleven on the way back so Clay could get a slurpee :)
Day 3 - We had Clay's hospital appointment- we popped into Westfield's to buy a shirt for Clay gor the wedding and then headed into Brisbane a bit earlier so we could have lunch. Clay's appointment was quick - 1.5 hours! Everything is looking good and we don't need to go back for another 12 months again :)
