Easter Hat Parade

Clay had his Easter hat parade today :)  Craig and I both popped out of work to see him.  His class walked around with the grade 2 class that they buddied up with help decorate their hats. His hat was cute!  He had a great lqst day of term - games, a movie and disco!

Everyday Moments

Lindalee got these stickers when she brought drinks last weekend - I think they are hilarious!

Tabs popped into visit a customer who sells 3D printing gear and got us each a pen holder (hers was a medieval castle). How cute is this chameleon?!?

We had a Harmony Day lunch at work and one of the guys brought in a NZ lolly cake - sooooo delcious!

I'm still going to the gym regularly with Tabs and loving it - I use my time on the treadmill to watch card making videos LOL

Yesterday Craig celebrated another year around the sun - work brought him a yummy cake! 

Jam Drops

1 cup SR flour

1/3 cup vanilla custard powder

80g softened butter

1/3 cup caster sugar 

2 tbs milk 

1/2 top vanilla essence 

1/4 cup jam 

1. Preheat oven to 180°c. Line 2x baking trays.

2. Sift flout and custard powder together.

3. Beat butter & custard powder together until pale and creamy. Add milk & vanilla essence and beat until combined.

4. Add flour mixture and mix together to form a soft dough.

5. Roll heaped teaspoonful into a ball and place onto tray, leaving 5cm space between biscuits for spreading.

6. Using thumb, make a dent in the top and fill with jam.

7. Bake for 15 mins or until golden.

8. Transfer to wire racks to cool.  Store in airtight container for up to 2 weeks.

We were lucky enough to win a double pass to the pre-opening day at Inflatable-World! Clay and his friend Mitch had an absolute ball!

Weekend Fun

We had a such a fun filled weekend with friends!  Saturday morning we headed to the annual free family fun day held by the baptist church.  There was lots of yummy food (scones, fairy floss, pancakes, sausages on bread & popcorn) - so we wandered around snacking and checking out everything.  Then waited in line for over an hour for the kids to go on the mini Jeeps.  By then we were all hot and tired, so headed to Macca's for lunch.

After lunch Clay and I headed to Lindalee' for karaoke!! Lindalee and I had a few sneaky margaritas ;) LOTS of fun singimg and trying out a heap of new songs :)

Today Lindalee and Tabs came over for a swim :)
