Thrifty Thursday

After Bunnings on Saturday Tabs and I took the kids to the op shops for a quick look :)

At the first shop Clay found 2 Squishmallow to add to his collection $1 and $2. He was excited to find the dino one cause he's been looking for it for ages.

Bunnings, Christmas Party and Movies

We had another busy weekend!  Saturday morning Tabs and I took the kids to Bunnings for a workshop where they made their own blackboards.  They had a play in the play centre and then we popped into 2 op shops :)

Saturday night was my work Christmas party! We enjoyed a delicious meal, played some games and trivia (my team won!) and had a few drinks. Susanne decorated the place beautifully and brought the kids Lego and chocolates- that kept them entertained LOL Our branch is celebrating it's 10 years and we all received engraved Yeti cups as a thank you :) It was a great night and a fabulous way to kick off the silly season!

This morning Tab, Larissa and I took the kids to see the new Trolls movie - it was a good movie with a great soundtrack :)

Bowling, Bunnings and Birthday Lunch

Saturday we went bowling with Duke and Mark and their families. It was lovely to catch up with and I did pretty well in the game! After bowling the boys all had 2 goes on the dodgem cars - Clay's fave!

Sunday morning we headed to Bunnings for the kids workshop - to make a mask and cape.  I love seeing Clay's creativity :)

We picked Nanny up and took her out for a belated birthday lunch.  She had lots of plans last weekend, so we decided to wait until this weekend to celebrate with her :)  

We were supposed to have a park playdate either Tabs & Torrie,  but it started raining as we headed back into town after dropping Diane off home.  We decided to have a quick catch up at the shops instead and got these cute pics of the kids.

Everyday Moments

We went out to dinner with Craig's workmates last week - always a fun night out with them :)

Friday was my RDO and this month I didn't bank it or use it for a trip away LOL Instead I had a LONG overdue hair cut, went to the gym, did some op shopping and had a lovely lunch at the beach with Craig (who also had a RDO).

Proud that Clay was picked again to lay the Rememberance Day wreath at the school parade.

Sunday

Craigs away for work this week and things went a bit pear shaped...Monday - As we were getting ready for school and work I discovered that Clay left his hearing aids in the car....which is currently in Rocky for the week . Let me just dust off the shelf for my "Parent Of The Year" award LOL

Wednesday the shenanigans continued...at 8.13am on the way to work Clay hands me a sheet of paper telling me that the re-scheduled parent teacher interview was TODAY at 8.15am!! Good thing we were only just up the road and only a few minutes late. After all that - he had a glowing report and apparently another envelope he forgot to give me....an invitation to the awards ceremony where he will be getting an award :)

Today the school supported White Ribbon Day by wearing white.

He also had the slime spectacular fun run - he had a fantastic time :) Unfortunately I had yow rok, but Poppy went to cheer him on and take some pics.
