The husbands and kids got to Tin Can Bay before us, so they had lunch at the yacht club and waited for us. From there we headed to the rental house and checked in.
Dennis made us a traditional Dutch NYE dish - Oliebollen - sort of like deep fried donut balls (either plain or with sultanas) - served warm & sprinkled with icing sugar.

Some games, drinks and nibblies to fill the afternoon - lots of fun!
There were fireworks at 8.30pm - 50m around the corner from us - so we headed off to watch them!
Back home for more nibblies and games! Nettie and Dennis saw the new year in, the rest of us flaked after 10pm LOL
New year's day and LOTS of photos before we headed off! Nettie, Dennis and Andrea headed to Brisbane to spend a few more days with her brother before flying back home to Holland. It was so wonderful to spend time with them - next visit is in 4 years time!!
