School Holidays - Week 4

Tabs and Torrie are staying with us for a bit, so Monday morning we set up the supplies to do some crafting and then baked cupcakes. We played Clay's new pop up game and built lego.

Tuesday I finished another lego set! We took the kids to see Sonic 3 - pretty good movie :)  We waited to see if it was going to keep raining before deciding to risk it and head out to see the NYE fireworks.  It's been 5 years since our council has put fireworks on, so nearly all of Bundaberg was there LOL  It was a great fireworks show and we walked over to listen to the band playing on the stage for a bit.

Clay's friend Landon is in town visiting his grandma for a few weeks - so she dropped him over Wednesday for a play date :)

Thursday Chris and Megan stayed overnight on their way through back to Rocky. It was so lovely to meet Megan and there was lots of wedding and travel talk :) Friday afternoon Chris and Megan headed to the train station and I made jam and Nutella drops while the kids swam.

Saturday morning we decided to go out for breakfast :) Afterwards Clay and I popped into an op shop and brought some more books before we headed game for a lazy day watching cricket, reading, another swim and more 3D printing.

Today was a relaxed day at home.  We did pop out to drop some toys off to a friend and Clay wanted to buy some more Lego with the last of his Christmas money, which he spend the afternoon building.
