Thrifty Thursday

A friend on FB had a heap of books for give away, so I picked up the Wimpy Kid & Minecraft books for Clay :)

Lindalee's birthday is this week and when I asked how she would like to celebrate she asked to spend the day op shopping - of course I said yes! LOL We headed off on Saturday morning and started at the oppoies in Bargara. At the first shop I found this handmade wooden kookaburra brooch $3

Book for Clay $2

And the most exciting find....a giant Lego storage head $10!  I've been wanting one of these for ages, but couldn't justify the price new!!

At the 2nd shop I found gift bags $1 each and book by my fave author $3.

At the last shop I found some great crafty goodies!!  Scrapbook papers 50c each.

Cute (unppened) lolly wrap kits $1 each!

Sublimation bookmark kit $10

Embellishment 50c

Earrings $3 each

My other most exciting find for the day - this huge pot plant stand that was a bargain $6!!

Monday was my RDO, so Craig and I had lunch together and went to a few appointments. I popped into an oppie and found some more goodies :)

This gorgeous tops was only $2!  I had found a similar style top when I was opping with Lindalee, but decided not to buy it as the plain pink colour did not suit me..so glad I held off buying it!

Some more crafty goodies - patterened paper bags $1 and unopened box Project Life kit $5.

These 2x hard cover books for Clay - $2 each

Cute metal watering can that I will use as a planter $2.

We picked Clay up from school and headed to a new to me op shop (Clay had been a few times with his after school group and loved it).  It was surprisingly bigger than I expected and a real little treasure trove - prices were a bit all over the place, but I managed to find some fun things :)  I even spotted a dining set for Craigs dad - sent him pics and he came over and brought it LOL

My finds -Scrapbook embellishments $4

Cookie cutters to add to my collection $1
