Today's adventure was taking the Kuranda Scenic Railway to Kuranda - Clay was most excited for this adventure :) We caught the train from Cairns Central Station. There was lots of historical information about the railway broadcast as we travelled along and they advised it was a 37 kilometres journey that climbs 327 metres, crossing 55 bridges and passes through 15 tunnels.
A 10 minute stop at Barron Falls to hop off the train to take photos.
Lunch amd then wandered around the village and brought souvenirs.
Back on the train for our return trip.
