Holiday - Cruise Day 1 & 2 Sea Days

Day 1 - We woke up to cold and rainy weather, so just chilled at the hotel till it was time to catch a taxi to the terminal.  We were all super excited to see the boat!!  It's the biggest ship in the P&O fleet and it is HUGE!  It was so exciting for Clay to finally see the boat after talking about the ctuise and looking at photos for so long!  We got through boarding very quickly and dropped our carry on bags at our room.

We went upstairs to The Pantry for lunch and to send teasing photos to our mum's LOL

After lunch we walked around and explored the boat (P&O Pacific Explorer) - it is much bigger than the Dawn & Jewel!

We got an early booking for dinner at Angelo's Italian restaurant, so we had showers and got dressed ready to take a few pics before we went down to the restaurant.  Found this painting that matched my outfit perfectly LOL

We were supposed to sail out at 4pm, but there was a delay and didn't leave till 6pm, so we got to see Sydney Harbour all lit up - it was absolutely gorgeous!!

The Welcome Aboard show was at 9pm- too late for us, so we skipped it and had an early night instead.

Day 2 - We were up early to beautiful weather and headed to the Waterfront restaurant for breaky and then more exploring of the ship.  Clay brought a teddy at the ship store and he had to join us :)

Clay went to Turtle Cove kids club for a few hours and Craig and I just chilled out.

Lunch was at The Pantry and we were suprised to see the pink theme at the Sugar Bar - I couldn't resist the meringues and Clay had a cupcake :)

Clay went back the the kid's club for a few hours, then we headed up to deck 12 to look at the pools and have an ice cream.

We had dinner at The Waterfront restaurant, then went to the atrium to listen to a duo while waiting for the show to start.

As we were walking past the Explorer Hotel to go to the Marquee for the show, Clay heard the live band and got so excited he literally dragged me onto the dance floor and started showing us some seriously awesome dance moves!  He was grooving  and having a fabulous time - I couldn't stop laughing at his moves!!  :)

The show was Vov Dylan - Australia's fastest violin player.  We weren't sure how Clay would go with live shows, but he sat and watched and cheered along with us all :)
