Thrifty Thursday

My lovely friend Danielle messaged me to ask of I would like her to buy a Lego box from the Lifeline book sale $5 - of course I said yes :) I popped in to meet her at the markets to pick it up and found 2x books at a stall for $2 each.

Mum and Cohan came over for a swim on Saturday and spotted a garage sale around the corner from us, so we jumped in the car and went for a look :)

I got the basket 50c and Clay got these toys 50c

Board game $2

Cook book $2 and Lego book $1

Foam surfboard $4.50

Cruise countdown ... 22 days!

Everyday Moments

It was grade 2's turn to make a video for Bluey's rule for school parade before holidays.

Indy taking advantage of a warm snuggly bed before he had to go outside when we headed off to work & school.

Flowers from Craig - just because ❤

Tabs brought some baby chicks for her dad one lunch break, so we got a quick cuddle before she dropped them off!

Spotted this cute lego display when we grabbed sushi for lunch one day.

Clay seems to have worked out how to scooter better and can now use the brakes LOL He is out riding his bike or scooter most afternoons now :)

Craig is way too excited by the drink cups on the new mower LOL

School Holidays- Week 1

What a fun filled first week of school holidays!

Monday was Craig's RDO, so they had a Daddy & Clay day - off to the movies to see "Super Pets", then lunch and a craft activity at the shopping centre. Thry also popped into the new donut shop to get us some dessert - delicious!

Tuesday morning Nanny and Clay headed off to the art gallery to make seed bombs and nature badges. Clay found the seed pod he painted last school holidays in the art installation in the gallery. The afternoon was spent building train tracks and swimming.

Wednesday morning was the free movie "Ron's Gone Wrong" and sushi lunch.

Thursday was a public holiday and unfortunately it was raining, so we headed off to the shops to do another craft activity and get the Big W free book.

Friday morning was Lego & board games at the library, then off to shops to do a sand art activity, before heading home for a swim.

Saturday morning Ma Ma and Cohan came over for a swim. They spotted a garage sale sign on the way, so we hopped in the car and went over to have a look and buy somw goodies :) The morning was spent in the pool, followed by fish & chips for lunch.

Sunday was a quiet day - Clay rode his bike while we did some gardening, popped out to grab some groceries and pick up nanny, then a swim in the pool.
