Texture Painting

I've been watching texture painting videos on my FB feed and was excited to find this kit at Kmart. I will admit it has taken me nearly 5 months to actually try it LOL

It is not as simple as I hoped it would be - it took me at least 9 attempts to get it to this stage!

First coat of chalk paints - I was going for a neutral pallette, but once it was done it looked like Neapolitan ice cream LOL

I decided to go with a darker pink and love how it turned out :)

Next up on my to try list - texture painting flowers!
