Craig & I really enjoyed the relaxed (and less crowded) 2014 NYE at the beach, so decided to make it a tradition and go again this NYE. We packed a picnic and invited family & friends to join us. We set up our chairs and blankets in the same spot as last year and settled in for the evening. Both mums and Tanya & Bert joined us (Kate, James and the boys were travelling back from Brisbane and didn't arrive till just as the fireworks started). It was lovely to just sit and watch the sunset and chat with everyone. We got out the glow sticks once it got dark and only stayed for the family fireworks at 8pm. Once again Clay was in awe of the fireworks :)
