School Holidays - Week 1

Saturday we headed to the beach for a play and lunch to celebrate the first day of school holidays and enjoy the gorgeous weather!

Afterwards we went to the cinema to see "Minions:The Rise of Gru".

Sunday we headed to Maryborough on a mini road trip for Sunday In The Park.

Monday Craig and Clay picked Nanny up for babysitting duty ;) They did some errands, brought groceries and grabbed some lunch.

Tuesday Clay and Nanny spent the day at home playing with cars and setting up the train tracks - this creation took over an hour to build!

Wednesday Clay and Nanny headed into town - quick photo in front of the chocolate shop :)  They went to the free movie - Sing 2 - unfortunately Brodie couldn't make it this time.  Nanny loved the movie and Clay was excited to watch it again.  Sushi for lunch and then home for a rest.

Thursday they headed to the Flourish Family Fun Day.

Friday they went to the Garden Growers school holiday fun at the shopping centre and spent the morning with aunty Irene and finished up with gelato before heading home.

Saturday Clay and I headed to the bowling alley for Jaxon's birthday party.  He's been so excited for this since he got the invitation weeks ago :) Unfortunately he got one game of bowling done before he slipped over in the bathroom and hurt his knee.  He was in so much pain and couldn't bear weight so I called Craig and we made the decision to call an ambulance.  Luckily they told us he hadn't broken or dislocated anything,  just looks like he may have strained a ligament, so they gave him some panadol and said we if it gets too bad we could take him to the ER.  He's a bit sore, but there doesn't seem to be any damage.
