Day 6
We had a bit of a sleep in this morning, then a leisurely breakfast.
After that I went to arts & crafts - making earrings. Then Craig & I went to bingo again - gotta love the bingo lingo! he he After that we decided to put a few dollars in the pokies and watch people playing poker, blackjack and roulette in the casino.
A bit of socialising and soaking up the sun on the deck, then off to the buffet for lunch. After that I went to another quilling class where I learnt to make roses.
We went to the formal dining room for dinner, then Craig & I went to see a show - "Motor City" in the International Lounge. After that we all sat in the Bengal Bar listening to a band, then off to The Atrium to see the champagne waterfall, Baked Alaska parade and laser show.
Day 7
Another leisurely breakfast, then quilling class where I made butterflies this time.
Due to the lovely weather we spent most of the day up on deck relaxing, reading, drinking cocktails and chatting :) The ocean was a lot calmer today, so Craig & I spent an hour relaxing in the heated spa - bliss!
We packed our bags ready for pick up - check out mum's bag! LOL I admit we had a LOT more bags now than we did at the start of the cruise! he he
One last delicious dinner at the formal dining room, the off to see "Boogie Shoes" in the International Lounge. Finished the evening with a cocktail in the Bengal Bar listening to a band.
Day 8
We were up at 4.30am (crazy?!?!) and stood up on the deck watching the ship sail into Brisbane - what a sunset!
We had breakfast, then got ready to disembark. After our group was called it only take 40 mins to disembark, go through customs, catch the transfer back to the parking and get on the highway back to home!
