A busy weekend

We had such a busy weekend, but lots of fun :) Friday was my RDO, so after I finished the housework I got to have a play in my scraproom. I managed to start AND finish a layout in about 1 hour! Shock! Horror! Tee hee Usually I procrastinate and dilly dally over finishing layouts, but I knew exactly what I wanted to do and it all just fell into place! Some family friends were in town for the weekend (staying with mum), so Friday night we headed to mum's for dinner. I made 2x butterscotch self saucing puddings (recipe here) - a great dessert for this cold weather :)

Saturday morning I popped into 2x op shops (will share pics later) and found a few goodies. Then we headed to the shops and managed to lay-buy all the nieces & nephews birthday (4 kids have a birthday in November / December)& Christmas presents in the toy sales - woo hoo!! Saturday night we headed back over to mum's again for dinner with everyone and to have a look at mum's photos from her cruise this year.

Sunday the sun was out (so wonderful after such miserable, wet weather!) and I was up early and pottering in my gardens - doing some weeding and picking some more mandarins & oranges from the trees (the ones I could reach LOL). In the afternoon Craig & I went to see "Men In Black 3" at the movies - loved it and then out to dinner.

I also worked on some card designs, a needlepoint project and a crochet project. Like I said - it was a busy weekend :) Here's some sneak peeks!
