Wooden jewellry kits
I brought the sweet wooden owl cross stitch kit on sale from Spotlight at Christmas. It's been on my (ever-growing) to do list since. A few months ago I got motivated to make it - it was very quick and easy (I think it took me longer to decide on a design than it did to complete the cross stitch LOL). Then I got distracted by my ripple blanket and didn't end up doing anything with the owl.
I loved how the owl turned out, so when the kits were on special again recently I decided to buy a smaller one to make into a brooch.
